Bob O'Connor Prize

 

 

Congratulations to Erin Minihan (pictured second from right above) who is the 2010 Bob O'Connor prize winner. Erin is a student of Queen's University Belfast and the Agri-Food Biosciences Institute and is also a Teagasc Walsh Fellow.

Also pictured are David Stead (judge), Mary Keeney (judge), Cathal O'Donoghue and Trevor Donnellan (Teagasc supervisor).

Congratulations also to Xavier Vollenweider who won the prize for the best First year student. Xavier is a student at the London School of Economics and is also a Teagasc Walsh Fellow.

 

About the Prize

The Bob O'Connor prize is awarded each year to the student showing the greatest promise at the Young Researchers' Workshop.
